Section 1: Rationale
I feel that over the past two years I have become increasingly confident and creative. I believe more in the ideas that I think of and feel like both my podcast and second year’s[1.1] website animations show this. I also consider my podcasts to display an increase of skills, as I now find BandLab[1.2] simple to use whereas this would be a website that I would have struggled with at the start of the course.
I believe that because I had a greater understanding of the tools I was using this year that I feel like I could go one stage further; Instead of just using sound I can continue into video and explore another field that I enjoy and love to work with. Hopefully, I can show others how much work really goes into putting on a production and also all the different types of skills that are needed for it and entice more people into the world of theatre.

Section 2: Concept
My Proposal focuses on following everyone involved in a theatrical presentation that the audience doesn't see during the performance itself. I would like to create a range of videos to show each section that enables the show to go ahead; these include a tour of the theatre, the lighting and sound departments, what the Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Managers do along with the creation of costumes, make up and the set as well an introduction to the person being filmed. I would also add in a mini introduction video to the beginning of the series.
I would use a camcorder and Vimeo[2.1] to record and edit clips in order to create the final video for each episode and then display them. I would like to get a video done each week, concluding on week 10 allowing some time for planning and evaluation at the end. However, this does depend on where the drama class is in their set up. Tutorials and independent study will either be spent editing videos or researching[2.2] other projects that have done similar things. I will be asking others in both the drama class as well as my own to watch clips as I set them up for their recommendations on the videos. This will allow me to see things from a viewer's eye.

Section 3: Evaluation
I aim to evaluate my work in a variety of ways; these methods include a journal and a checklist, which themselves will be split into whether objectives have been completed and what my strengths and weaknesses are. I also intend to include how my project can be improved as things continue and whether I have focused on the subsection that each video is focused on.
Collaboration in this video will have its positives and also its negatives within this particular project. Positives include people that know each of the positions I want to focus on, allowing me to focus on things like recording, editing and evaluating where as negatives include going at someone else’s pace and relying on the current health situation to stay as it is for us to get back to being able to use equipment. To minimise risk I will have to set up appointments early and be ready to move my idea to interviews with the people involved on Zoom instead.
