STRENGTHS
Whilst looking at the skills I used in my first year of college; I noticed that my spelling, grammar and written communication were fairly strong. This meant that research, comparisons and analysis conducted, as well as any planning made, was thorough and any possible issues had solutions already planned. Concept Awareness allowed research to be done to a high standard and Immersing myself in a range of projects both inside and outside of college whilst attempting to learn new things about the events world meant that organisation and timing were of a high level.
WEAKNESSES
In the past year I realised that budgeting is not my strongest point, trying to buy things for an event without the correct amount of money is not easy. It also helps if you have the correct connections and good people skills; I believe that both of these I can improve on, my written communication skills may be good but I find that face to face or over the phone my verbal communicative skills are undesirable to say the least. My awareness of the audience could be enhanced, as I found myself creating events that maybe I would enjoy but that others may not, maybe some audience research before events could come in handy. Along with the events that were run I had lots of other ideas that could have been followed through with; unfortunately this didn't happen and ideas are what they stayed as, this may be because I didn't allow myself to adjust the original ideas as time progressed.
Throughout the year I had lots of things going on both in and outside of the college. This meant that I had a lot that could be presented on my website but maybe not to my full ability; without the knowledge of social media I was unaware on how to present my site and therefore put everything and possibly too much work online. I created it without thinking about how a viewer would see it or access the information provided and so it became untidy and cluttered. All of this can be improved if I take a bit more time with tasks and think about the person I am providing my work for.
OPPORTUNITIES
Living between Worthing and Brighton, two areas that love to run events, I believe it will be harder than last year when it comes to arranging them. This year I have more knowledge of the spaces in the local area, with more connections both inside and outside of college. Although we are struggling due to Covid-19, I will be able to learn more about different types of events and how to handle obstacles both large and small. With another year gone and now knowing what my weaknesses are I have the chance to be able to work on these and hopefully turn them into strengths. Hopefully as the year continues I will be able to learn more about myself.

THREATS
I believe that the biggest threat of my this year is Covid-19 and the possibility of another lockdown. With a range of spaces normally used within the events industry still not being able to function like they had before had; local and national restrictions mean there is less chance of creating a physical event along with attendees taking more time to get there. As well as this social media is slower because of the amount of people online and any money transfers may take more time to be completed.
